Build Business with a Capital “B”

in Cathy's Blog

You are great at what you do. Yes you are!

You truly enjoy sharing your expertise and knowledge with your clients and providing your customers with the best products and services. Your clients feel the same – they appreciate your dedication and commitment to quality.  You’ve got your website with all the information but . . . for some reason, you aren’t attracting (and keeping) as many clients as you would like.

Why?

There could be many different reasons but chances are, you’re missing one of these essential “B’s” in your business:

“B” Visible.

Make it easy for people to find you and your business. Your clients and prospects need to see you, hear you and know about you. Just having a website isn’t enough. (really) You need to be actively attracting and sending people to wherever you can be found.. And don’t forget about Social Media. Where are your clients hanging out?   Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter –  these are just some areas that your clients can find you. You don’t have to do all of them, just choose the most effective media to attract your prospects and clients. But don’t stop there.”

“B” Responsive.

Once they’ve found you, you need to engage and retain them. Offer subscription to your eNews, send postcards, showcase your blog and articles online. Respond to their posts.

“B” a Resource.

Hand in hand with being visible is the need to be seen as valuable to your clients and prospects. Share tips, offer advice and suggest strategies to the people who interact with you. Each person who interacts with you. It’s not just promotions or sales pitches. A successful business is built on relationships, trust and perception of value.

There you have it – 3 ways to create a ‘buzz’ in your business. Tell me what you’ll “B” doing in the comments below!
