In the real world, prospects buy from the people they know and trust whether they have a big name brand company or not.
What are you marketing? It had better be you. You’re the difference maker when it comes to the sale. You’re the face that you want those clients to superimpose over your company logo. Think about it. If you are a rep for a large company and you’re marketing the company and not you, what happens if you change companies? Or better yet, start your own company? If you’ve marketed the company you are selling for instead of yourself, you may find you’re leaving your hard-earned clients and reputation behind.
