What’s New With You?
When was the last time you updated your Online profiles?
With so much vying for our attention, we really depend on automated systems to remind us of reoccurring events and important dates. Here’s the catch, the system is only as good as the data that’s been entered.
LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Your clients and potential clients are more likely to look you up online to find information than to ask your mother.
If you have a LinkedIn profile, make sure it’s up to date with your latest skills, experience, contacts, endorsements, etc. (And for goodness sakes – update the picture! I know you want to still be ‘young’ but really?!)
If you use Twitter or Facebook to connect with your customers, take some time to review your bio and profile description. When was the lasted time you posted? If you’re finding it challenging to keep up with everything, there are apps that will schedule and auto post for you and if content is not your specialty, there are companies that specialize in creating and posting for you.
In general, you want to make sure that all your digital calling cards are accurate, up-to-date, compelling, and loaded with your important keywords.
If you can ‘t keep up, you’ll be left behind. I’m just sayin’ . . .
